Stewardship Moment #2 ~ The Pearre's and Dublin School
Wendy and Ted are leading the Buildings and Grounds charge at Emmanuel Church.
All throughout the year, they personally tend to the landscaping, cleaning up leaves in the fall, taking away brush in the spring, and checking the Church and Rectory for any issues inside or out.
Coming from independent school careers, they know that students are required to do community service. The Pearre's immediately contacted Dublin School to see if students might be interested helping out in for fall and spring clean-up. Saturday mornings, at the School include Work Gang, after breakfast. Students are assigned to groups and a variety of tasks that need to be completed in the morning before lunch and an afternoon of sports. Fortunately, Emmanuel Church is one of "the best" experiences as students are outside and can immediately see their accomplishments. Andy Hungerford and the School Maintenance Staff also help by taking away the truckloads of brush and leaves. Emmanuel is blessed by great neighbors!
Thank you Dublin School and Ted and Wendy for your commitment to Emmanuel!
There are many ways you may contribute to Emmanuel, either with your time, talent, or treasure.
