Our Worship Stream
Many of us have heard that folks are having some issues with out live stream of the service. We are using a system that should allow anyone anywhere to enjoy our services at any time, but in particular together on Sundays at 9 AM.
Without going too far behind the scenes or into too much detail, the service is available in several places. The most dependable place to find us is on our website on our online worship page: https://www.emmanuelchurchdublin.org/worship/. The service begins at 9 AM, so if you tune in at 8:58, you are too early, and if you tune in right at 9 you are right on time. Sometimes it takes almost a full minute for our web provider to get the stream up and going, but if you don’t see anything updated after you refresh our website after 9:01, then the problem is on our end.
You can calso find the service on facebook at : https://www.facebook.com/EmmanuelChurchDublin. If you are on Facebook but not already “friends” with the church, I encourage you to take that leap so that you can see all our most recent posts and content, including reminders about our Sunday services.
Finally, I have heard from some that there are various issues with the quality of the live stream (no sound, or skipping, or slow load times). These are related to the strength and quality of the internet in our region and have nothing to do with what we are doing on our end. I hate to suggest troubleshooting on your end, but that is the only solution. Perhaps checking the volume on your device is a good first step, then refreshing the website a second option. Remember, you can always enjoy the service on any day of the week at any time through our service archive on the website.
Its a strange technical world out there, but we are confidently progressing into our future together with hope, love and faith.
Thanks to everyone who helps us to get all this together!
