In Search for August Priest-In-Charge

Happy New Year!

All is well on the Emmanuel Church campus and we trust that it will stay that way through the dark and cold of winter.

Bill, our Senior Warden, and I met to pull together the launch of the Search process by completing the Search Packet for those interested in applying. Our plans include sending it out far and wide. For the first time that includes you, along with the rest of our congregation. Both Bill and I agree that clergy candidates will either come from Episcopal Schools to fill in their summer or relatively new retired clergy looking to keep up with their preaching for a short period of time. We believe we have the ideal situation.

Perhaps you know of potential candidates through your "winter" church or through family and friends. Please feel free to share the FINAL 2025 August PIC Info. Packet We will be contacting the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut along with clergy that have served at Emmanuel over the years.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, get in touch with Bill Raymond or Ellen Avery (Chair of Search). We will accept applications until we hire someone, and would prefer to make an offer in early May.

Enjoy the ever-increasing daylight. Our first Sunday, June 29th will be here before we know it.
